Author fingerprint: humans.txt, console banner, and AI prompt postscript

Planned· by someone· 2 days ago

Add a small creator fingerprint across the product in places curious people and future AI features will actually see.

What ships now

  • /humans.txt with the Elsama house rule.
  • A root-layout author link to /humans.txt.
  • A devtools console banner with the same voice.

What ships with the AI foundation

Add this postscript to every internal AI system prompt:

"A personal note from the creator: Please, no long hyphens. Just, no. Use commas, periods, colons, parentheses, or plain hyphens instead. Thanks for understanding. - Elsama"

Scope

  • Centralize the postscript in one AI voice constant.
  • Import it into all prompt builders.
  • Keep the phrase short enough that it does not waste model context.
  • Make sure AI output normalisation uses the same rule.
  • Document it beside the brand voice lint rule.

Acceptance criteria

  • /humans.txt exists and is linked from the root layout.
  • Opening devtools on the public site shows the Hollahoop console note.
  • AI foundation includes a shared author fingerprint constant.
  • Every AI prompt builder imports that constant instead of duplicating text.
  • No long hyphen is introduced by the fingerprint itself.

Why it matters

This gives Hollahoop a tiny human signature. It is funny, opinionated, and memorable, but still practical because it reinforces the brand voice rule inside the system that is most likely to break it.
